Mod Color Block

This client was in desperate need of a makeover for their ranch style house. I wanted to design a simple yet interesting space.  A color block of navy blue, grey, tan, and sea foam help warm the space that's framed in black and white walls and trim. Mod outlines feature the vaulted ceilings that also showcase an inspired rendition of the Dear Ingo spider lamp. A mixture of materials such as leather, glass, linen, metal and natural wood provide a rich space without feeling stuffy. Bringing a New York loft vibe to the west coast was a client request. I wanted to have that inspiration but retain the ease of Los Angeles easy-going lifestyle. As a result I've created a relaxed, refined, and sophisticated space that will stay fresh and clean through the years.

Natural Light in the Spotlight

Natural Light in the Spotlight

The windows atop these vaulted ceilings were addressed in a black outline to bring the eye up and feature the natural light.

Simple and Clean

Simple and Clean

Designed with the bare minimum, this ranch style home offers comfort and a sense of coziness without over crowding the space.

Light Statement

Light Statement

Keeping the design crisp and clean allowed this Dear Ingo inspired 12 light fixture to shine. The vaulted ceilings are complemented by this hanging form.

Form and Function

Form and Function

This is an equally functional and visually stunning marriage of color and texture. The goal was to make the space feel modern and inviting.

Just the Right Color

Just the Right Color

Colors can be tricky in a space, but just the right combination proves a harmonious aesthetic. Tan, sea foam, navy blue, and grey are the heart of this living room.

Mini Ceramic Gallery

Mini Ceramic Gallery

This tier of the shelving unit showcases some odd and imperfect pottery and ceramics. They juxtapose the often streamlined symmetrical furnishings.

Feet Up for Everyone

Designed to give every seat in the house an option to put up your feet and lounge.

Anchored Navy Blue

Anchored Navy Blue

The large area rug in Navy Blue really grounds the space and provides a sense of center.
